Speech-Over freezes when multiple files are open

I opened 3 files, one at a time. I needed to copy some material over. When the third file was opened it became unresponsive and I had to end the process which killed all three. I am opening files by double-click on them in the Windows Explorer.

When you need to work in Speech-Over with multiple ppt files open, you should open them by PowerPoint/Open and not by double-click on the ppt file in the Windows Explorer
